Expanded Access to Case Information

The Kansas District Court Public Access Portal is open and free to the public—no account is required for general use. Certain groups (e.g., attorneys and external justice partners) may request expanded access as permitted by Supreme Court Rule 25.

If you reached this page but previously had elevated access in our old system, make sure your work (official) email is attached to your ID.me account, then try verifying again.

  1. Sign in to ID.me.
  2. Go to My AccountProfileAdd an email.
  3. Enter your work email, set Email Type to Work, and select Send confirmation.
  4. Open the confirmation email and select Confirm your email.

Need details? See ID.me’s guide: Add a work or business email to your ID.me account .

To start an expanded access request, first sign in with ID.me. If you don’t have an ID.me account yet, you’ll be prompted to create one. After signing in, you’ll be redirected back here to answer a few questions so we can route you to the correct Kansas Judicial Branch steps.

How it works

  1. Sign in with ID.me. Use your existing ID.me account, or create one if you don’t have it yet.
  2. Return here automatically. You’ll be redirected back to this site after signing in.
  3. Answer a few quick questions. This helps us determine your role (Attorney or External Justice Partner).
  4. Proceed to request expanded access. You’ll be guided to the Kansas Judicial Branch process to complete your request.
